A “PLASTIC ALLOY” FOR ADDED CORROSION RESISTANCE AND REDUCED FRICTION
Xylan coatings provide a dry film surface lubrication and reinforcing resin bonded with PTFE for corrosion protection, enhanced abrasion resistance, reduce friction, and non-stick applications.
First and foremost, Xylan coatings are dry-film lubricants combined in a matrix with high-temperature organic polymers resulting in “plastic alloys” formulated to provide unique and desirable properties with a wide color range.
Xylan coatings resist chemicals and corrosion, provide a low coefficient of friction, and deliver constant and reproducible torque.
XYLAN CHEMICAL RESISTANCE CHART
This chart presented is intended to be used only as a guide. Your choice of Xylan coating must be subected to your rest procedures prior to its use in any chemical environment. All test were conducted at room temperature except as noted. All test results assume a pin-hole-free coating film.
